Vintage

Fortune is what you make of it. But what did Stella McCartney do to get so much success designing cloths that the local H&M was sold out of Stella McCartney after an hour? The cloths are not so special: actually it's most of all traditional; I've seen it before. The colors of the Adidas collection I've seen are nice but not just the colors of the moment. More traditional. Can it be explained with the objective correlative of TS Eliot? I've always translated this as taking something everyone has seen before and noticed and make it something 'new'. I started working lately on a series of Vanitas photographs taken from vintage printed matter.
